What is the Hope Center’s outpatient opioid treatment program?
The Hope Center provides integrated outpatient treatment for adults (18+) with opioid dependence, including co-occurring mental health issues. Treatment combines methadone therapy, counseling, medical services, and wellness activities.

- Admin hours: Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Closed: Sundays and major holidays
Who is eligible for services?
Adults 18+ with physical dependence on opiates. Clients may also have co-occurring mental health or physical health issues. No waiting list; all eligible individuals receive services.
What services are offered?
- Intake, screening, assessment, evaluation, diagnosis
- Individual, group, and family counseling
- Medication management (methadone)
- Case coordination, management, skills training
- Health promotion, peer support, primary care
- Telemedicine options via Microsoft Teams
What is the treatment approach?
Treatment is collaborative, led by the client with support from Recovery Coaches and other staff. Methadone is used alongside counseling and medical services. Modalities include motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral interventions, relapse prevention, and harm reduction.
How is medication dispensed and managed?
Methadone is dispensed via an electronic dosing system managed by nurses. Clients are educated about medication use, side effects, and self-administration if eligible for “take-home” privileges. Regular appointments ensure proper medication management.
What are the admission and readmission criteria?
- Must be 18+ with opioid use disorder
- May have co-occurring disorders
- Intake available during clinic hours or by arrangement
- No funding source required; sliding fee scale and referrals available
What happens if a client is discharged or needs a higher level of care?
Clients are discharged if they no longer meet criteria, request discontinuation, transfer, or move. Ineligible clients or those needing specialized services are referred to appropriate providers. Discharged clients can return if they meet admission criteria
Are there special populations served?
Priority populations include pregnant women, women with dependent children, and intravenous drug users under the federal Substance Use Block Grant
What languages and accessibility options are available?
Bilingual (Spanish/English) staff are regularly available; other languages (Farsi, Arabic, ASL) via Lango. Facilities comply with ADA requirements for accessibility.
