La Frontera provides an array of services designed to treat the whole person, body and mind. Mental health and substance use services are integrated with primary medical care and social services designed to help you lead the life you strive for.

CASE MANAGEMENT
Case management is a supportive service designed to help you navigate care and reach your goals. Case management might involve referrals to services both within La Frontera, or in the community that best fit your needs.
INDIVIDUAL & GROUP THERAPY
Therapy, also known as counseling, is an interactive service designed to identify and solve behavioral issues or conflicts. Depending on the issue, therapy might be provided in a group setting, individually, or with family members. La Frontera has therapists trained in a wide range of modalities to meet specific needs.
PEER SUPPORT
Who better to understand what you need than someone who has also been through similar issues? La Frontera employs people with lived experience as Peer and Recovery Support Specialists (PRSS). Many Recovery Coaches and Aides are also certified peers.
MEDICATION SERVICES
For some people, medication helps to alleviate symptoms and make mental health issues more manageable. Qualified Doctors and Nurse Practitioners can assess if medication is right for you.
SKILLS TRAINING
A Recovery Coach or Aide can assist you with learning or strengthening skills to manage the day to day. Skills such as budgeting, healthy eating and movement, anger management and coping skills to name just a few.
